Having lived in Brooklyn 10 years, I've missed a decent bagel. I'm thrilled to have stumbled on New York Bagel. I encountered them while at Miriam Hospital, (A Jewish hospital, so the term "decent bagel" has some meaning.) and asked where they got the bagels from. I purchased some to freeze, as they freeze just fine. I had the pumpernickel, always my favorite, and have it simply toasted with gobs of butter and a sprinkle of salt. It was perfect. I tried the asiago, and it was nice, but lighter, more like Au Bon Pain, not repeatable for me.

littel jem in the south shore. Tons of different home made bagles, dozens of home made cream cheeses and fillings. Delicious place for breakfast or lunch. I got a whole wheat bagle with sundried tomato cream cheese...AMazing!

Great bagels. My all-star combo: Spinach bagel, heated not toasted, with scallion cream cheese. Amazing. Coffee is just OK, as are the breakfast sandwiches (not a fan of scrambled eggs) but hey, they have a drive-thru!

I go to NY Bagel pretty often and I've never had any issues until lately. The food quality is always great but the staff I've encountered at the Fall River location have been less than customer oriented. After ordering a sandwich at the drive through, I attempted to order a juice from the cooler. I was told I couldn't. At the window, I asked the employee if I could get a juice and she told me I'd have to come into the store to purchase it. I have never had an issue with this at the Dartmouth location and I find it very frustrating that a person being paid to serve food wouldn't walk around the counter to get an item from the cooler. When I opened my sandwich, it had 4 slices of cheese on it, which is a bit much. Easy fix, I take off a couple slices of cheese, but that's not the point. Very poor customer service. I'll gladly go to the Dartmouth store from now on.

Love the bagels hate the staff !! ...... i go there and the women over the drive through is very rude sounding while im trying to explain my order and then i drive up to pay.. apprently i was disrupting the employees morning; two girls and standing there looking at a cell phone and chatting away while i sit and patiently wait not even being acknowledged. As it is pouring rain into my car she finaly hands me my order. The worst customer service i have ever encountered !! something needs to be done, my food is simply not as enjoyable when i get an attitude serviced with it.

Really good bagels, 10x better than a chain like dunkin, not overly heavy, plentiful toppings on "the Works" bagel and the cream cheese was really good too. And you get a ton of it for one bagel, probably why it's $1.20 extra for it. All in all, I believe I'll be frequenting this place now that I've tried it! Would recommend for sure!

Awesome bagels, fast service! I love that there is a drive thru as well. They have a ton of different flavors of cream cheese and the bagels taste so fresh. I've had toasted bagels with cream cheese and also love their bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches.

Best bagels in the area, hands down. My personal favorite is the asiago with sundried tomato cream cheese. They are all good though. The salads and sandwiches aren't too shabby either. I've been coming here for over 20 years and will keep doing so.
